You know it’s summertime when you hear the phrase: MASH blood drive.
What better way to Save Someone’s Summer than by donating blood at one of CBC’s four MASH blood drives?! Did we mention the added bonus of an exclusive MASH t-shirt and brats and hot dogs from the grill?
For every blood donation received, CBC will make a monetary donation to AMVETS Post 30 in Greenville.

For decades, MASH has been a tradition for The Community Blood Center and the community. The first MASH took place at Houdini Plaza in Appleton in 1989.
The theme MASH was chosen because the television show, MASH, showed viewers that even in the worst conditions, human life should be valued, respected and shared. Historically, especially during times of war, blood drives were hosted regularly to help maintain an adequate blood supply for emergency situations.
And that’s why we continue these drives, and all drives, today. Every 2 seconds, someone in the U.S. needs blood. It’s up to us to ensure that blood is available. Today, the MASH blood drives span across the state of Wisconsin, taking place in four cities.
We can’t wait to see you at MASH!
