Job Details:

  • In this role, you will use your proven outbound and direct sales experience—and the CBC sales playbook—to identify and secure blood drive sponsorship meetings with local business leaders, groups, institutions, etc. around the Brown, Door, Kewaunee, Manitowoc, Shawano, and Oconto counties.
  • From prospecting, cold calling, cold email, and social media, to networking and in-person presentations—that’s you.
  • More than outbound, you’ll also use your event planning skills to plan, organize, promote, and execute effective and exciting events that share CBC’s mission with schools, civic and community groups, churches, and businesses.
  • You’ll also regularly contribute to the strategic account planning process with the Sales Supervisor and the rest of the Donor Recruitment team.
  • Specific job duties will be reviewed during the interview process.

Pay and Hours:

  • Competitive pay, monthly incentive opportunities, and benefits package.

  • Hours are Monday – Friday plus additional early mornings, nights, and weekends as required to support sales and blood drive activities.

Requirements and Skills Needed:

Every 2 seconds someone in our community needs blood. So, from your first day on the job, you must be ready and able to make sure CBC is meeting our collections goals. That means you will need to:

  • Have proven outbound sales experience—plus some event planning and implementation experience— and a history of community involvement. A bachelor’s degree or equivalent is preferred as well.
  • Have a love for selling and relationship building, relentless positivity, be metrics-obsessed—results matter here—and be able to quickly adapt your message for multiple audiences and formats.
  • Be detail oriented and diligent about logging all sales activities in our CRM.
