Happy 68th birthday CBC

The Community Blood Center (CBC) is celebrating 68 years of providing a reliable, local blood supply and YOU are invited to our BIRTHDAY WEEK!

In honor of our 68th birthday and to show our appreciation for your help in saving lives, we are raffling off ONE $68 Amazon e-gift card EACH DAY from Monday, May 22nd to Monday, May 29th. How do you join the raffle? It’s simple! Just present to donate during that timeframe and you’ll be automatically entered to win! CBC will be contacting winners the following week AND… (more?! YES!) …we’ll have some sweet treats for all presenting donors on Monday, May 29th to wrap up all the birthday fun!

DONATE

Established in 1955, CBC was founded in response to the need for a reliable and local blood supply. At that time, Outagamie County Medical Society voted to form a community blood donor program to service St. Elizabeth and Kaukauna Community Hospitals. Since its founding, CBC has grown to provide blood to more than 40 hospitals. Blood collection that once took place in the basement of city hall now occurs at four different donor centers, various fixed sites and more than 100 blood drives each month. CBC is also excited to open a donor center in Green Bay and the Chicagoland Area this year.

What’s not to celebrate, right?!

And this week is just the start of a summer of celebrating—CBC’s Life’s Worth Celebrating! campaign kicks off with our 68th birthday but it doesn’t stop there. It’s a summer all about celebrating life, the blood donors who ensure blood is available by donating, blood drive coordinators who fill their schedules, and our continuing growth thanks to everyone in the community. Stay tuned for more details on giveaways, special blood drives (hello, MASH!) and more!
