Blood centers across the United States are focused on helping the community. Typically, this means meeting the transfusion needs of patients through collecting and distributing blood to hospitals. This commitment has been shown as blood centers, including The Community Blood Center (CBC), have sent blood to impacted areas to ensure patient needs continue being met.

In addition to sending blood products to Florida, CBC is helping those within the blood community as they recover from the storm. Through the Blood Centers of America Foundation, CBC has made a monetary contribution to assist colleagues at affected blood centers.
