A Mission to Connect Lives and Share Life

This is why we do what we do. Every day.

At The Community Blood Center, you’ll hear us talk about our commitment to connect lives and share life. It’s our mission, after all, and we take great pride in living it out every day. We’re always looking for knowledgeable and passionate professionals to join our team.

At CBC, we’re a nonprofit healthcare organization dedicated to supporting our local communities. And we’re on the move—with a desire to serve more hospitals, more communities and ultimately more patients by providing life-saving blood and blood products. The work we do and the role of each and every team member is critically important.

We are committed to ongoing personal and professional development and pursue diversity of thought in being solution-providers. We are open communicators and trust in one another to achieve success.

If this type of environment sounds like you, then keep learning more. Meet some of our team members and review our current openings.

Employee Feature: Zach

Zach is Team Supervisor and is a great example of how passion and drive lead to opportunity. Now in his fifth year at CBC, Zach has held a variety of roles at CBC, beginning as a donor technician and continuously taking on more responsibility each year. “I had goals I wanted to achieve and I was able to learn and grow here and make my goals a reality. Now, I want to help others do the same,” Zach shares with excitement in his voice.

Zach loves working with blood donors—hearing their stories and ensuring they have the best possible experience. He has a passion for working with a purpose and helping the community. Another favorite? Driving the mobile blood units! In fact, Zach loves it so much that he waves to everyone along his journey.

When not at CBC, Zach and his wife spend their time raising two young children. He is also continuing his education in pursuit of achieving more goals. We’re cheering for you, Zach!

The next time you see a big smile and hearty wave from one of the CBC mobile units, it’s likely Zach at the wheel, so give him a wave back.
