The Community Blood Center's robust blood collection program and state-of-the-art laboratory result in exceptional service for hospital customers. Blood is always available when needed. No scheduled surgeries at hospitals served by the Community Blood Center have been cancelled due to lack of blood for over 30 years.
The laboratory at the Community Blood Center is staffed 24 hours a day for immediate availability of all blood products. Reference laboratory services are available 7 days a week, 365 days a year.

Blood products are processed, tested, labeled, and manufactured in compliance with current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP) as defined in the Code of Federal Regulations (CFR).
