Eligibility guidelines for blood donors help ensure the safety of blood donors and blood recipients.
General guidelines say that blood donors must be at least 17 years old (16 with parental permission in Wisconsin), weigh at least 110 pounds, and be in good general health. There are other guidelines that we will discuss with you when you come to donate blood.
