The Community Blood Center (CBC) is hiring new part-time Call Center Representatives to help schedule lifesaving blood donation appointments. No experience is necessary — we’ll train you! This is a great part-time job if you need flexibility during the day and to keep your evenings free. Did you know:

  • There’s no way to make blood? It has to be donated.
  • Over 40 local hospitals and clinics depend on the blood given by our community donors to treat cancer, infection, and injuries.
  • Our Call Center Representatives are a big reason we have 100+ successful blood drives each month. Your work will save lives.

What will your day look like?

  • Schedule Donation Appointments — You’ll call CBC’s list of blood donors to schedule and confirm donation appointments. Plus, you’ll ask a few screening questions to pre-qualify donors and record relevant information in our computer system. No cold calls. No selling.
  • Answer Phone Calls — You’ll answer questions about CBC programs, services, and special blood needs. When needed, you’ll transfer calls to appropriate office personnel.
  • Attend Onsite Events — You’ll occasionally join our team at in-person special donor recruitment projects around our community. Here, you’ll meet potential donors face-to-face and share information about CBC’s mission.
  • No call center or blood donation experience? No problem! Our training programs will give you everything you need to be confident on the phone, including scripts, call lists, and info about The Community Blood Center.
